Anna Lena Grytz (45) from Düsseldorf will take over the management of the new EEBA. Born in Stuttgart, Grytz worked for the trade fair organiser Reed Exhibitions until the beginning of 2021, where she had been in charge of EQUITANA and EQUITANA Open exhibitors since 2001 and, since 2016, hadalso been responsible forsales at the leading trade fair for the bar and spirits industry, Bar Convent Berlin.

RB: Hello Ms Grytz, as a graduate agricultural engineer you know the entire equestrian industry with all its facets and at the same time have gained management experience in an international large corporation. What can the European Equestrian Business Association expect from you?

Grytz: Among other things, I will deploy my strong equestrian networks at both a regional and global level. The customers and their success have always been my focus. This is something the EEBA will also benefit from.

RB: What are you particularly looking forward to in your new field of work?

Grytz: To be able to work personally with the industry and develop it further within the framework of the EEBA project…

RB: … which certainly requires a lot of know-how and commitment…

Grytz: … which I definitely bring to the table. I am committed to the EEBA vision of uniting the entire European industry under the umbrella of the leading trade association. We want to be the mouthpiece of the industry in dealings with politicians and the public, lending a common voice to the horse as an economic factor in Europe.
