The nucleus of our work are the expert panels. Here, the members exchange information on their main interests, work together on current topics and develop sustainable strategies for the further development of the sector. The first focus of interest is, for example, the development of quality criteria for various product areas, the science and industry network, the future of events with horses, the promotion of young talent and public awareness, and much more. Representatives of the expert panels and national speakers promote the interests of the industry in public as experts. 

Expert Panel: ‘Safety in sports / Safety equipment’

Making equestrian sports more safe in the future is a declared goal of the EEBA. For this purpose, we will take a look at various parameters: Recording and evaluation of accident statistics, improvement of safety-relevant equestrian equipment, Europe-wide norms and quality standards as well as the promotion of public awareness with regard to safety in sport.

Expert Panel: ‘Animal welfare and safety in horse keeping’

Animal welfare is in the focus of our industry experts as a crucial influencing factor for the development of our industry in the coming years. In order to collectively achieve more as an industry, this working group encourages the dialog between science, industry and all stakeholders of the industry.
